- Developing and printing of EM negatives
- Embedding specimens in resin
- Freeze substitution followed by resin embedding (UV polymerization)

- Training in electron microscope operation
- Ultrathin frozen sectioning (Tokayasu method)
- Ultrathin sectioning of resin embedded specimens
