Genetics Core

Location: Room 467, 4th floor of the Joslin Building
The Genetics Core was established in 1991 with the aim of promoting and facilitating genetic studies of diabetes and its complications in humans at the Joslin Diabetes Center and collaborating institutions. More than 1,000 DNA samples from human subjects have been collected in these years and are available to researchers. The Genetics Core also provides services assisting investigators in the use of these samples.

- Low-throughput SNP genotyping (Taqman platform, up to 6,000 genotypes/day)
