Core Summary:

The Medical Research Group (MRG) is involved in collaborative clinical research studies and committed to the development of superlative research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital.

The Medical Research Group conducts clinical research studies and has extensive experience in the design, implementation and coordination of sponsored human research. The MRG investigators are involved in basic and clinical research in human subjects.

Areas of interest of the MRG include Cardiovascular, Diabetes and Hypertension. The investigative efforts in these areas are paramount to the advancement of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease in patient populations.

  • Clinical Research Study Design

    This includes collaboration with outside sponsors, hospital staff, pharmacy, and other healthcare providers. We collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in the implementation of human subject’s research.

  • Recruitment Site for Multi-Center Studies at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital

    Patient recruitment, enrollment and research activities take place at these locations. Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a leader in collaborative biomedical research.

  • Support for Ancillary Studies and Biobank

    Ancillary studies evaluate the effect of various treatments and the outcome of disease.

    Our work in this area is important for long-term research designed to understand how health is influenced by genes.
