This Tissue and Blood Repository Core provides specimen acquisition, processing and storage services, and access to archived frozen tissue specimens to the BWH/MGH/DFCI research community.

- Protected cryo-storage at -80C, -140C, histology, cell culture
- 'General Holdings' are anonymous specimens accrued by the bank, not associated with a particular account, and generally available to investigators for a fee
- An 'Account' is a collection of specimens related to a protocol-based, contracted agreement to collect, process and/or store specimens on behalf of an investigator, group or program.
